Best time of year for outdoor photoshoots in Dubai
October to April is the sweet spot — here is why, and what to do if you want outdoor photos in summer.
October to April is ideal
The cooler months give comfortable temperatures, soft light and the most pleasant conditions for desert, beach and park sessions. This is when most outdoor shoots are booked, so dates fill early.
Golden hour matters more than the month
Whatever the season, outdoor sessions are shot at golden hour — the hour before sunset or just after sunrise. The low sun is warm and flattering; midday sun is harsh in any month.
Shooting outdoors in summer
From May to September we shoot very early, at first light, when it is cool and quiet — or we move the session into the air-conditioned studio. A summer sunrise desert session can be magical if you are willing to start early.
Booking around the light
Because outdoor timing depends on the sun, we plan the exact hour with you and hold a flexible window. Weekends and the cooler months book first, so reserve early.
