Outdoor photoshoot in Dubai
Outdoor sessions run from October to April. Between May and September Dubai is simply too hot to put a child in front of a camera outside.
The season is the whole point
From October to April the light softens, the evenings cool down and the city becomes photographable again. We shoot in the last ninety minutes before sunset — that is when the light does the work. Outside that season we move the same session into the studio.
Where we shoot
Outdoors, in natural light. We choose the location together — somewhere open, quiet and soft-lit, with room for a child to move. We plan it around where you live and how far a small child can travel before losing patience.
It runs on the child's clock
Outdoor sessions are short and unposed. Children walk, run, pick things up and lose interest — we photograph that rather than fight it. Forty-five minutes to an hour is usually the whole thing, and the best frames almost always come in the first twenty minutes.
What to wear
Soft, muted, natural fabrics — cream, sand, sage, dusty rose. Avoid logos and strong prints
