When to Take Newborn Photos in Dubai
The short answer: within the first 5 to 14 days. Here is why those early days matter, and what to do if your baby is a little older.
The ideal window is day 5 to day 14
Newborns are at their sleepiest and most flexible during the first two weeks. In this window they still curl naturally into the womb-like poses that make classic newborn photography so tender, and they sleep deeply enough to be gently settled.
After about three weeks babies become more awake, more aware, and harder to pose in those curled positions. The photos are still beautiful, but the look changes.
Book before the birth, shoot after
Because no one can predict the exact birth date, the best approach is to reserve a tentative slot around your due date and confirm the exact day once your baby has arrived. We keep the schedule flexible for newborns for this reason.
What if my baby is already older?
It is never too late. Older babies are more expressive and interactive, and we simply adjust the style to suit their stage. If your baby is past three weeks, get in touch and we will plan the right kind of session.
At home or in the studio in Dubai?
In Dubai's summer heat, many parents prefer at-home newborn photography: the full setup comes to your living room, your baby stays in their own space at their own temperature, and there is no travel or car seat. The studio is available year-round as well.
