Two people, one studio
Ebru photographs. Barbaros films. That is the whole company, and it is deliberate.
How it started
Ebru trained in Russia in 2015 and spent the years after building a newborn practice from nothing — first the posing, then the light, then the long, patient craft of getting a sleeping baby into a shape that looks effortless and never is. In 2018 we opened the studio together. Ten years on, that work has passed five hundred families.
Why we film as well
Because a photograph holds a moment and a film holds a sound. The way your two-year-old says their sibling’s name will go before the photographs fade. So Barbaros films while Ebru shoots, and families leave with both. As far as we know we are the only studio in Dubai doing this for newborn and family work.
We teach it too
Ebru runs one-to-one newborn and maternity training for other photographers — light, posing, wardrobe planning, retouching and the safety practice that has to sit underneath all of it. If you photograph families and want to move into newborn work, get in touch.
Where we work
Dubai is home. We photograph in clients’ homes across the city at no travel charge, hire studio space for built-set and concept work, and shoot the desert and coastline at golden hour. We also work in İzmir several times a year, where the studio started.
