Family Photoshoot in Dubai: Studio, Beach or Home?

Studio, outdoors or at home — the right setting depends on the season, your children’s ages and the feeling you want. Here is how to choose in Dubai.

The studio: comfortable all year

An air-conditioned studio works in any season, which matters in Dubai. Clean backdrops keep the focus on your family and the light is fully controlled — ideal with young children and newborns.

Outdoors and beach: best in the cooler months

From October to April, Dubai’s parks, desert and beaches are perfect for natural family portraits. The soft light around sunrise and sunset is the most flattering time of day.

At home: familiar and relaxed

For families with a newborn or very young children, an at-home session is calm and unhurried. Everyone stays in their own space, and the photographs feel personal and lived-in.

What should a family wear?

Coordinate rather than match. Choose two or three soft, complementary colours and dress everyone within that palette. Avoid large logos and busy prints so faces stay the focus.

The best time of day

For outdoor sessions, the hour after sunrise or before sunset gives warm, gentle light. For studio and at-home sessions, we work around your children’s nap and feeding times so everyone is at their best.
