When to book Christmas photos in Dubai
Festive sessions in Dubai run for only about eight weeks a year. Here is how the season works, and how to get the date you actually want.
How the season works
Studio Christmas sets usually go up in early November and come down at the end of December. Bookings open in October. The first two weekends of December are the most requested, because families want photos in time for cards, gifts and visiting relatives.
Which dates go first
Weekend mornings sell out first, often by mid-November. Weekday sessions in November are the easiest to get and the calmest — ideal for babies and toddlers. If your family is travelling for the holidays, shoot in November and you will have your gallery before you fly.
The best time of day for children
Book around your child's routine rather than the clock. For babies, right after a nap and a feed; for toddlers, mid-morning. A happy child for twenty minutes gives better photos than a tired child for an hour.
If you need photos for Christmas cards
Shoot by the first week of December. A preview gallery arrives within 72 hours, which leaves time to design, print and post the cards before the holidays.
